Simbra SA hosted its Elite-kuier this evening at the Afridome in Parys, where various awards were presented to breeders in recognition of their achievements and contribution to the Simbra breed.
The award winners are as follows:
Breedplan completeness of performance, 4-star:
- Brasim Simbra.
- Kamab Simbra.
- Ondeka Simbra.
- Zimeyer Boerdery.
Breedplan completeness of performance, 4,5-star:
- Glen-Aggy Simbras.
Breeder with the most calves registered in a year:
- Malemba Boerdery.
Sire with the most calves under 3 years of age:
Rotswand Cruiser LZ1734 of Blouberg Simbras.
Breeder with the most scrotal measurements for males under 2 years of age:
- Category 1 – Zarissa Simbra.
- Category 2 – Brasim Simbra.
Breeder with the most net feed intake recordings for animals under 4 years of age:
- Zimeyer Boerdery.
Best marketed auction between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2026:
- Sirkel S auction, held on 21 July 2026.
Negative 10 club:
- Gerlou Simbras.
Highest-priced female sold at auction between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2026:
- REG22529B (heifer in calf) of Reggeraai Simbras, sold at the 2025 Simbra Elite auction.
