The Kalkveld Lounge is open Monday to Saturday, 11am–3pm. Bring someone worth sharing a glass with. We'll do the rest.

The Kalkveld Lounge opened in 2016, named for the limestone soils that shape everything we make, and the Kalkveld Shiraz that put Robertson on the map. Beneath it, subterranean concrete tanks from the farm's earliest w**emaking days now house an exhibition of soil types, large-format bottles and w**es from Zandvliet's very first vintage.

Every element inside was designed by Philip Pikus and sourced responsibly, ethically and locally, from handcrafted luminaires made of recycled materials to an eight-metre chandelier crafted from recycled w**e bottles that glows above the tasting tables.

It is a space built to tell a story. Come and hear it.

The Hill of Enon is a specific place. Pebbles, limestone and clay. Cold nights and snow-capped mountains in winter. Vines planted in 1995 that have had three decades to figure out exactly what they want to say.

What they say is this: blueberries, licorice, plums and chocolate on the nose. A palate that's delicate but structured. A finish that lingers long after the glass is empty.

Matured for 24 months in seasoned French 500l oak barrels. Awarded Double Gold at the National W**e Challenge 2026.

Some w**es are made. This one was grown.
