This Guest Lodge is an exclusive use, self-catering private lodge with an authentic bushveld atmosphere. Our spacious, well-equipped lodge is the perfect getaway for families and friends.
The farm on which our lodge is situated has been in our family for more than a hundred years. The current owner is an indomitable lady of 95 years, and we honor her spirit and love for the farm in everything that we do. We are passionate about the environment and sustainability and have guarded our vegetation, especially our trees, and animals over the years. About four years ago, we installed a grey water system to protect our threatened water resources. We would love to share our special place with you.
Visit us and experience the magic of the bushveld in luxury and comfort. We’re looking forward to hosting you!
This lodge is self-catering. It has a main entertainment area with a fully equipped kitchen and spacious, beautifully decorated living and dining areas. We also have full DStv and free WIFI.
Our three separate chalets, situated around the pool and barbeque area, house the bedrooms. Our modern amenities will ensure that you stay in comfort and our lodge is serviced and air-conditioned.
You are able to see a wide variety of game at our lodge and on our organized game drives, including elephant, sable, buffalo, crocodile, brown hyena, civet, steenbok and aardvark. There is also plenty for the bird watcher, including ground hornbill and the migrant woodland kingfisher.
The lodge sleeps ten people and has five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a guest toilet. It has a main house and three nearby chalets, one of which houses an en-suite bedroom with a queen-sized bed.
The other two chalets have two bedrooms each, sharing a bathroom. Each chalet has a room with two three-quarter beds and a room with a double bed.
The lodge has a large, open plan living and entertainment area and a kitchen fully equipped for self-catering guests, with a fridge, oven, microwave oven, and ice machine. The living area has a television with full DStv and a beautiful square table seating twelve.
The outside area has a deck, splash pool, and another beautiful table seating eight. You can sit on the deck and watch the animals drink at the water hole 25m away.
