“I would like to take a moment to commend the excellent customer service that I recently received from the team, especially Kim and Susan. From the very beginning, both ladies went over and beyond to ensure that my order was shipped in as quickly as possible. Despite the various challenges and delays encountered from the manufacturer, they remained professional, proactive, and highly responsive throughout the entire process. What stood out the most was their consistent communication and dedication to keeping me updated with accurate feedback and ETA information at all times. Their commitment to customer satisfaction truly made a stressful situation much easier to manage.”

Thank you, Laveshnee Pillay from Nanotech Water Solutions, for taking the time to share your experience.

Some treatment environments don't leave much room for error. Ceramic membranes earn their place in those applications. CERAFILTEC 's ceramic flat membrane technology is built for stability, handles aggressive cleaning cycles, and holds up over a long service life. Where process reliability is non-negotiable, it's a strong fit.

South Africa's water sector just took a significant step forward. The government has approved the board of directors for the new National Water Resources Infrastructure Agency (SANWRIA), bringing the country closer to having a dedicated institution to finance, build, and maintain national water infrastructure.

For industries that depend on reliable water supply, this is worth paying attention to. A more coordinated, better-funded approach to water infrastructure has direct implications for long-term operational planning.

"SANWRIA addresses something the sector has needed for a long time. Consolidating infrastructure functions into a single agency with a sustainable financing model creates the foundation for investment that actually keeps pace with demand. South Africa can't afford to keep playing catch-up on water infrastructure." — Phathu Mashele, Managing Director, Aqua Resources

Major milestones have been passed in the establishment of the South African National Water Resources Infrastructure Agency (SANWRIA), and the operationalisation of the new State-owned water agency is steadily progressing. The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) on Tuesday said that the new agen...

Water is one of the most powerful places to start when it comes to climate action. The small daily decisions around how water is treated, reused, or discharged add up fast. For ecosystems, for communities, and for operational costs.

That's the work we do at Aqua Resources, turning those decisions into better outcomes.

Our new managing director, Phathutshedzo Mashele, recently attended the DuPont Water Solutions seminar in Johannesburg. The event brought together engineering firms, industrial clients, and water industry professionals to discuss the future of water infrastructure across Africa.

At Aqua Resources, we bridge the gap between global technology and local implementation. By combining world-class solutions from partners such as DuPont Water Solutions with regional expertise, local stockholding, and technical support, we help our customers improve system reliability, reduce operating costs, and deliver successful water treatment projects across the continent.

Thank you to the DuPont Water Solutions team for an insightful event. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and supporting sustainable, resilient water infrastructure across Africa.

When municipal supply isn't reliable, desalination changes the equation. We supply desalination units powered by DEFRAWater technology, a German company focused on sustainable production of fresh, clean water through unique membrane filtration. Whether the feedwater is seawater or brackish, these systems deliver consistent, potable output for coastal operations, remote industrial sites and everything in between.

If water independence is on the spec sheet for your next project, let's talk.

"Friendly and reliable service. Excellent product knowledge. Helpful." That's what our clients say, and it's what we hold ourselves to on every order.

In a technical field like water treatment, product knowledge isn't a nice-to-have. When you're speccing systems for clients, you need a supplier who understands the technology as well as you do, and who can back you up when it counts. That's what we bring to every partnership, from first enquiry through to aftersales support.

Thank you to Ross Roberts and the team at Pure Trade Africa for the kind words.

Where does your water end up? For most systems, it doesn’t disappear. It returns to the environment, and much of it ultimately makes its way back to the ocean.

Founded by the South Florida Kayak Fishing Club, Mother Ocean Day recognises the ocean as a vital, life-supporting system. It’s marked by activities like beach clean-ups, education initiatives, and efforts to reduce marine debris.

Our oceans regulate climate, support biodiversity and sustain global ecosystems. Its health is directly influenced by how water is treated, discharged and reused upstream. Every decision around wastewater treatment and pollution control has a downstream impact.
