Dear Birdies Clients,
It's been 4 years since I started Birdies, but it is now time for me to close this entrepreneurial journey. What started as a side hustle has proudly grown to serve a loyal client-base across Gauteng. Birdies taught me a lot about what it actually takes to run a business — logistics, relationships, resilience and persistence.
I'm incredibly proud of what it has grown into, but my work as a Family Wealth Manager has grown to the point where it now requires my full attention.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to each and every one of you who supported this little business over the years. It has been such a pleasure sharing Chef 'n Thyme's delicious meals with you! I hope they gave you more moments to enjoy with the people you love.
The good news is that a fellow Birdies client will be taking over the supply relationship with Chef 'n Thyme. She is excited to continue supplying these meals in Johannesburg, every Wednesday, and in Pretoria on arrangement. Please let me know if you are happy for me to share your details with her?
Additionally, Chef 'n Thyme's frozen meals will continue to be available at Thrupps in Ilovo, as well as Pantry in Bassonia and Hazelwood (with Fourways and Mall of Africa on the way!).
On the Birdies front, there will be 2 final home deliveries, taking place on:
- Thursday , 6th August
- Wednesday, 12th August
If you try to order online and there is limited stock, please contact me directly on WhatsApp (069 391 3757) before tomorrow 12pm, and I will make sure to get that stock to you by 12 August.
