36-HOUR WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION

Residents of Mangaung are advised of a planned 36-hour water supply interruption on Tuesday, 18 August 2026, to repair a major leak on the 800 mm bulk water pipeline near SPAR Kenneth.

Residents are advised of a planned water supply interruption due to scheduled Eskom maintenance affecting Welbedacht Dam.

06:00–18:00

Affected areas include Dewetsdorp, Phelindaba, Rocklands, Wepener, Pellissier, Vista Park and surrounding areas.

Residents are urged to use water sparingly during this period. The Municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused.
