Our venison pie is a tribute to one of our school friends, Sonia de Waal, who published the recipe in the “Landbou Boerekos” magazine a few year ago. My family loves this recipe and “soos ons ouers altyd gesê het: My kind elke ete moet vleis, iets groens, iets geels en iets wit in hê.” Bedien dit met groenboontjoes, rooikool en kweper jellie!!🤗😋

Heerlike vars broodjie saammet een van Vleisstaat se gewilde soppe: bees-groente sop; lam skenkel kerrie sop of gerookte skenkel en ertjie sop. Wat is nou beter vir aandete😋😉

Ons is so dankbaar… die trokkie het vanoggend half 6 van die plaas vertrek en het nou net veilig by Vleisstaat aangekom. Al bultend met heerlike lam, skaap, bees en allerhande wildsprodukte soos blesbok, springbok, takbok en koedoe! Môre pak ons af, so kom maak julle vrieskaste vol! 🙏🥟🥩🥓🐂🐑
