Lying at the foot of the Hottentot Hollands mountain range in the Botriver valley it borders the Kogelberg National Eco Park on the one side and looks across the valley to the Bablionsberg mountains o

n the other. It is just one hour's drive from Cape Town International Airport and twenty minutes from Hermanus and the beaches of the South Atlantic ocean. We have five luxury mountainside holiday houses and local activities, including whale watching, hiking, riding, surfing, diving, birdwatching, botanical interests, fly-fishing, golf and wine tasting.

September is Rosรฉ Month at Barton.

Spring has arrived in the Overberg, and our Merlot Rosรฉ is exactly where it belongs, on a table in the sun. Light, crisp and dry, with strawberry and cherry on the nose and a clean finish.

For the whole of September it is R95 a bottle instead of R140, at our tasting room only, in person.
