An exciting vineyard between the tiny hamlet of Malagas and Cape Infanta, at the mouth of the Breede Called Sijnn by the original Khoisan inhabitants.

For the month June, our Long Table theme is 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧.

Join us for an afternoon of warming wines, seasonal fare, and good company at Sijnn cellar in Malgas.

Throughout the afternoon, we will taste a selection of current-release wines alongside a few special bottles carefully chosen from our cellar.

We will begin at 14:00 with arrival drinks, followed by a tasting in several flights by our winemaker, Kruger. After the tasting we will enjoy a light winter lunch, with the event finishing at around 5pm.

Kruger has a fantastic time pouring Sijnn, meeting new customers, sharing stories and enjoying the incredible atmosphere!

A few weeks ago, we had an insightful tasting of all the even vintages we've produced of Sijnn White - from 2008 until the current release, 2024 and all the odd vintages of Sijnn Red - from 2007 until current release, 2023.

The informal tasting was held by David, Kruger and Lizaan at De Trafford winery in Stellenbosch and attended by customers and friends in the industry.

We have decided to share a snippet of this tasting by selecting the six wines that were the most popular on the night.

We present our Odds & Evens Mixed case:

Sijnn Red 2011, 2015, 2019 & 2021.

SIJNN VERTICAL TASTING AT DE TRAFFORD, STELLENBOSCH

Thu, 16 April | 4pm - 8pm

To celebrate the release of the latest Sijnn Estate Red 2023 and Estate White 2024, we are hosting a vertical tasting of all the even vintages of Sijnn White since our first vintage, 2008, until the current release 2024 and all the odd vintages of Sijnn Red since our first vintage 2007, until the current release 2023.

It will be an informal tasting at your own pace with David, Lizaan and Sijnn winemaker Kruger Theunissen available to assist and discuss the wines. Chef Louise will put together some snacks, breads, pate's, cheese & charcuterie to enjoy woth the wines.

Easter weekend opening hours.

Pop in to enjoy the beautiful view and taste our new vintages White and Red.

Our first long table tasting & lunch for the year went very well with some special guests attending.

We did a vertical tasting of some older white and red blends whilst focusing on our new release White 2024 and Red 2023. We also tasted our Cape Vintage 2022 from the barrell.

End of April, Kruger will be at the Agulhas Wine Traingle festival pouring our new release wines, but more dates for the next few long tables will be available soon. Keep an eye out on socials.
