Mostly fruit and vegetables in season are utilised and at its best, this means our flavours change throughout the year and not all flavours and products are available all year round. The fact that we make our products seasonally and in small batches, contribute to a fresh taste and uniqueness in giving our customers only the best! OUR STORY
Humble Artisau was born of necessity mixed with passion. Our finances were tight and it was a stressful time, with the global COVID-19 pandemic not helping. It all started in the desperate wee hours of the night, while seeking answers from the Lord, praying for guidance and strength. I have been making drinking vinegars aka shrubs for our family for a while, after reading about it in a Christian novel. I was intrigued by a Raspberry Vinegar that the characters drank. It is a healthier option than normal sodas as it contains unpasteurized raw ACV and fresh fruits and herbs that contain vitamins and minerals. Shrubs have actually been around for centuries. While sitting there in the early hours, with COVID-19 in mind, trying to boost my family's immune system and living healthier, the vision was born to share this quality, healthier and delicious drink with others. After experimenting with different flavours, ingredients and methods and also inspired by feedback from friends and family, HUMBLE ARTISAU was born. We also decided to add my favourite homemade condiments under the Humble Artisau label and with great success. They compliment almost any dish or platter. Thus Humble had a humble beginning and no matter where this journey takes us, I will remain humble! OUR VISION
Humble's vision is to create delicious, healthier drinks and gourmet products and share them with as many people as possible. How we go about this is of the utmost importance to us. Our busy lifestyles have us consuming too many preservatives. Due to fast pace production we are neglecting our bodies and forgetting what good stuff taste like. We aim to get back to the slower way, the better way by making good and tasty products using natural ingredients without the harmful modern day preservatives. All our products are handcrafted in small batches and we do our best to use locally sourced ingredients. We are committed to environmentally friendly practices.
