Being an agro-ecologist I'm interested in the politics of food and appetite...and keen to explore this further by way of an on-farm eating experience emerging from the synergy between farmer, chef and visitor. A local mindfulness around eating with 96% of produce grown, harvested and transformed within a 350m radius of your table this includes;heritage meat, eggs, dairy, cheeses etc, fruit, nuts, honey, vegetables, crops, herbs, foraged goodies and water. Low carbon footprint, super fresh, simple but not simplistic food all grown on farm in a mixed farming system with heart and without animal mutilations, routine antibiotics and agrochemical inputs, it is the absolute opposite of 'factory fresh'. We also offer workshops, usually on a Saturday, to share skills around working with flour, cheese-making, vegetable gardening, bottling and preserving. These course include a light lunch.
