This recognition reflects the quality of the vintage and the considered work invested at every stage; from vineyard to bottle.

This win represents years of hard work in the vineyards and cellar, an unwavering commitment to quality and the passion Andrew pours into every Mellish Family Vineyards bottle.

Great first day in Angers! On tour with BeveraTech

Our winemaker, Andrew and Danie tasting through the Bakenkop Blanc Fumé 2024 - carefully evaluating every detail to ensure the wine reflects the quality, character and precision for which we strive.

Think blackcurrant, granadilla and grapefruit, layered with subtle smoke and spice, refreshing acidity and a long, saline finish. Only 1,566 bottles produced!

The journey on Die Wynmeester is coming to an swift end and what an absolute ride it’s been. Catch the grand finale this Thursday at 20:30 to find out who will be crowned the winner 🥂

In celebration thereof, we're pouring the iconic Mellish Family Vineyards' Pinotage and Syrah, alongside a sneak-peak of Barton Vineyards' soon to be labelled and released juicy Rouge.

A moment of reflection on the journey of Die Wynmeester thusfar.

There have been challenges, unexpected moments, plenty of lessons and even more laughter.

What appears on screen is only a small part of the experience. Behind the scenes, new friendships have been formed, comfort zones have been tested and unforgettable memories have been made.

It’s been a privilege sharing this journey with such a talented group of winemakers and everyone who works tirelessly behind the camera.

Apparently sabrage is serious business… although these behind the scenes photos might suggest otherwise 🥂

A few bottles lost their heads, everyone else kept theirs and we had a proper laugh while filming episode 6 of Die Wynmeester .

Safe to say, I take the wine seriously - myself, slightly less so.
