Happy International Viognier Day 🥂

Locally, it’s still under the radar — small plantings, bold character, and often overlooked.

But when it’s good?
Perfumed, silky — like walking into a fresh bouquet.

Not the loudest wine in the room —
but often the most intriguing.

Swipe through — a few things you probably didn’t know about Viognier 🍑🌼

Harvest 2026 — In Their Own Words 🍇

We asked a few winemakers across different regions to share how the 2026 harvest really played out — the good, the tough, and the moments that mattered.

From dry conditions and early starts to standout fruit and precise timing, it’s clear this was a season shaped by decisions in the vineyard.

Swipe through to hear directly from the people behind the wines.

We went all the way - tasting wines from far and wide, turning over every rock - all the drama to find a collection of proper wines that punch way above their R100 price tag. No cutting corners and no snobbery, just pure character.

We found 10 of the best wines for R100.
No, seriously.

There are plenty of wines at that price. But only a few that shouldn’t be.

So we tasted. And tasted again. And threw a lot of wine out.

Every wine had to earn its place:
👅 Taste better than the price
🤪 No funny business
🍲 Braai-, table- and second-glass friendly

They look good on IG…
but how do they taste in the glass?

Come find out at our pop-up wine bar.
Taste all 10 wines and decide for yourself.

📍
🗓 This Friday 6 February from 18:00 till late

🍷 💯 WINE HUNDRED
Proper wine. One hundred bucks.

January was long. Budgets were tight.
So we did the hard work for you — going on the hunt, far and wide, to find wines that seriously overdeliver at R100 a bottle.

No gimmicks.
No funny business.
Just honest, well-made wines with real character — the kind you can’t help but humble brag about.

Wine Hundred is a mini urban wine festival where we pour 10 standout local wines that punch way above their price tag.

✨ What to expect
• Taste the full collection
• Your favourite wines available by the glass
• Bottles available to order at R100 each
• Live music & laid-back vibes
• Cheese platters & slider burgers available to buy

This one’s for the wine-curious, the cost-conscious,
and anyone who knows good taste doesn’t have to be expensive.

🗓️ Saturday, 31 January
📍 66 Albert Rd
⏰ 18:00
🎟 Tickets via iTickets — link in bio

Come thirsty. Leave smug.
You’ll never look at a R100 wine the same way again.
