On Heritage Day, we celebrate more than where we come from. We celebrate everything that has been carried with us along the way. The traditions passed down, the stories told around tables, the food shared between families, the languages that feel like home, and the people who came before us.

South Africa is made up of many histories, cultures and ways of life. Different roots, different stories, all part of the same Mzansi.

La Tierra began with a connection between two places. Inspired by Mexico and made here in South Africa from Karoo agave, our story has always been about bringing those two worlds together. And today feels like the perfect day to celebrate the South African half of that story. Happy Heritage Day, South Africa!❤️🇿🇦

Today, I’m holding a bottle, but what I really see is a dream that took courage, patience and countless unseen hours to build. So today, I want to celebrate every woman carrying a dream of her own. 🤍

To the women building businesses with more courage than certainty.

To the mothers raising families while still finding ways to pursue their own purpose.

To the women working two or three jobs, studying after hours, starting again, or simply doing everything they can to keep going.

To the women whose work is recognised, and those whose sacrifices happen quietly.

To the women creating opportunities, opening doors and making space for the women coming next.

To every woman who has doubted herself and still showed up.

Your strength is not only found in the big achievements. It lives in the early mornings, the difficult decisions, the quiet resilience and all the moments when you choose not to give up.

Today, we celebrate you. We see you. We honour you.
