Golden rule # 1: Nous carbs after 15.00 and now sugar.
Point. Blank.
Good carbs (what you find in natural food) is important for your brain and is your energy fuel. You need them in the morning and at lunch. YOU DO NOT NEED ENERGY AT NIGHT!
When you eat carbs past 15.00, you won't have time to burn them, your body will store it. That's how you gain weight: too much energy and too little time to burn it.
NO SUGAR: natural foods contain all the glucose (energy) the body needs (nuts, fruits, etc) Anything with refined sugars is USELESS! It will only spike your blood sugar level, make you crash shortly after and you'll have the feeling you need another dose to function properly.
Remember sugar works on the addiction part of the brain, like any other drug....
Have sugar once a week max as a treat.
