Join us for a Spooky Study Picnic 👻 , the perfect study picnic before exams hit!

🌻Dress up festive (if you’d like!), it’s totally optional, but a fun way to take your mind off the stress.

🌱 Bring along your favourite vegan snacks or treats to share.

This form will close on the 20th August, but we recommend filling it in before you forget and the deadline closes!

We are excited to announce our first event for this term: a collaborative movie night event with We Are Animals UCT 🎥

We’ll be screening the (iconic) Chicken Run! Made in 2000, it won a Critic’s Choice Award for ‘Best Animated Feature’, and is conveniently a vegan-forward movie. The plot follows a group “anthropomorphic British chickens” who attempt to escape a farm with the help of an American rooster. It was made by Aardman Animations (the same group who made Wallace & Gromit), if that’s any indication of the style and humor!

We’ll be providing popcorn and some other snacks too, including soft drinks. But we do encourage you to bring your own bottles/cups in line with our sustainability mission 🍿♻️

📅Date: Thursday, 14th August

⏰Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

📍Location: Leslie COMMERCE (not Leslie Social) LT 2A
