Hey fam, Avah is doing her little holiday dance for you! šŸ’ƒ As we head into the festive season, I wanted to share a moment to reflect on keeping those routines alive—it’s a time to celebrate, but also a chance to show up for yourself.

I’m reminding myself to:

1ļøāƒ£ Stick to my wake-up time, even with all the festive chaos.

2ļøāƒ£ Move my body wherever I can. If the gym isn’t happening, I’ll be running after Avah or dancing in the kitchen—burning those calories with love and laughter.

3ļøāƒ£ Be mindful about what I bring into the house because what’s not there can’t tempt me.

It’s not about being perfect; it’s about staying present and intentional. Let’s head into this season feeling strong, happy, and ready to enjoy every moment. We’re all on this journey together. ā¤ļøāœØ

Happy Sunday beautiful people, friends and fam.

If this year taught me one thing: it’s that focus is everything.

For the longest time, I’ve wanted to feel better in my body—to feel strong, confident, and energized. But, like most things, life kept ā€œgetting in the way.ā€ Work, motherhood, and just trying to survive left little room for me.

But this year, something shifted.

I stopped waiting for ā€œthe right timeā€ to prioritize myself. I realized no one was going to hand me the energy or time to make a change—I had to create it.

It wasn’t about perfection; it was about consistency. Small choices became big wins.
✨ Choosing water instead of juice.
✨ Going for walks instead of scrolling.
✨ Learning to love the journey, not just the results.

And honestly? It wasn’t always easy. There were weeks I fell off track. Days I doubted if it was even worth it. But I kept reminding myself: Progress over perfection.

Fast forward to today: I’m stronger, healthier, and more focused than I’ve ever been. Not just physically, but mentally too.

If this year taught me anything, it’s this: Focus changes everything. And when you focus on you, amazing things happen.

If you’ve been putting yourself last, let this be your sign. You’re worth it. Start small, but start today. ā¤ļø

I've reimagined fish and chips takeout to be baked, not fried. The dressing is a homemade blend of plain yogurt, lemon, olive oil and garlic.

With crispy baked potatoe wedges.

It's the intelligent option.

Last week I shared this video on IG about how, I’ve been really focused on mind-body connection during my workouts.

Here is a breakdown of what this means if you are not familiar, focusing on the mind-body connection means really paying attention to how your body feels as you move—being present in the moment.

This is important because it helps you perform exercises more effectively, reduces the risk of injury, and makes your workouts more intentional and fulfilling.

When I was training on my own at ignite for over a year. I didn’t see a lot of progress and the reason was because I was not intentional about every movement I made. Obviously I didn’t have the knowledge and I was just working out to sweat like many of us.

When you’re truly connected to what your body is doing, you can maximize your results and feel more in tune with yourself. When I started doing this I saw crazy results and very fast. Don’t just workout to sweat become more intentional about your movements and you will see a major change. Just my 5cents🌸

Today’s Workout feat Coach Nico

I still have a long road ahead but for the first time, after having Avah I’m staying consistent with my workouts, and it feels amazing.

It’s not just about the physical changes—it’s about showing up for myself, day after day, and seeing the progress unfold.

Here’s to staying dedicated, even on the tough days, and pushing through to reach those goals. Let’s keep this momentum going! šŸš€

I hope this captures the energy of your video! Let me know if you’d like any tweaks.

Simple fish taco recipe:

**Ingredients:**
- White fish fillets (like tilapia or hake)
- Tortillas (corn or flour) I made my own
- Cabbage or lettuce (shredded)
- Lime
- Sour cream or plain yogurt
- Fresh salsa or diced tomatoes
- Avocado slices (optional)
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Optional: Hot sauce or chili powder for a little kick

**Instructions:**

1. **Cook the Fish**:
- Season the fish fillets with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lime juice.
- Heat a little olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side until it’s cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

2. ** the Tortillas**:
- Mix flour water and oil add salt, knead roll and fry.

3. **Assemble the Tacos**:
- Place a piece of fish on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded cabbage or lettuce.
- Add a dollop of sour cream or yogurt.
- Spoon some salsa or diced tomatoes over the top.
- Add avocado slices if you like.
- Squeeze a bit more lime juice over everything and add hot sauce or chili powder if you want extra flavor.

4. **Serve**:
- Fold the tacos in half and enjoy your simple, fresh fish tacos!

It's a versatile recipe, so feel free to add any toppings you like!

There is really no shortcuts to building a better, healthier and stronger version of yourself.

I’m starting to realize what I eat in private is what I wear in public everyday. šŸ™ˆ

& it takes time I had to be very patient and honest with myself…
