One of the biggest and absolute highlights absolutely was Joy. From the minute she arrived at our house she became a part of the family. Her friendly, happy, polite, efficient and super professional service made Ernest's 50th the special and successful event that it was. She is most definitely an asset to your company. And she managed to capture my husband using his birthday gift for the first time, and she made sure to make a video so that I could see it. I absolutely loved her for it.

David and Taku were an amazing part of the team making sure our food was of high quality and presented beautifully. Recently, Beefup Spitbraais & Smokehouse had the pleasure of catering for a team-building event for Metropolitan

We started the day by preparing breakfast platters for 40 guests before they headed off on a game drive.

When they returned, it was time for the main event, a proper spitbraai feast!
From the breakfast setup and preparation to the spitbraai lunch, our team at BeefUp Spitbraais was proud to be part of their day.

Drive company vehicles to events (where applicable)
Able to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours.
Ability to prepare and cook a variety of meats on the grill.
Good communication skills and able to work well in a team.
Physically fit and able to lift equipment.
Punctual, reliable, and well-presented.
Knowledge of food and hygiene practices
Valid driver's licence - Compulsory

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting a private birthday celebration for 15 guests visiting all the way from the USA.

We pulled out all the stops, blending classic smokehouse techniques with fresh coastal ingredients.

From flame-grilled prawns to our signature glazed chicken skewers and our signature lamb chops, it was a true feast for the senses.

Xylon and Donna Lee to celebrate their beautiful union with 110 of their closest guests.

For this special day, the couple chose a Family Style Dinner, the ultimate way to bring people together. Instead of traditional individual plating, large, vibrant platters were shared across the tables, sparking conversation and second helpings all around!

On the Menu:

The Harvest: A massive charcuterie and grazing spread to kick things off.

The Mains: Our signature wood-fired spit braai lamb, finished with crispy skin and fresh rosemary, alongside braai-style slow-roasted chicken thighs.

The Sides: Roasted baby potatoes with caramelized onions, seasonal feta garden salads, and warm garlic rolls.

From the golden hour drinks on the lawn to the intimate, candle-lit reception among the w**e barrels, every moment felt like a dream. It was an honor to be part of Xylon and Donna Lee's incredible day.

We had the absolute pleasure of catering for Candice and Fredโ€™s special day, serving 80 guests against the backdrop of the Somerset West vineyards. From the first bite of our signature harvest board to the main event straight off the coals, every detail was crafted to celebrate love and great flavor.

We had the absolute pleasure of catering a pre-wedding dinner for 30 guests in this stunning setting.

From the smoky aroma of the pit to the vibrant colors of our fresh sides, it was a night defined by good food and even better company.

The Menu Highlights:

Slow-smoked, tender brisket carved to perfection and succulent BBQ chicken basted in our house glaze.

Traditional lamb, pulled and seasoned, served with fresh rosemary.

A crisp garden salad with feta and balsamic reduction, creamy slaw with micro-herbs, and a zesty pasta salad.
