Mampara week meals:
Fry onion in shallow oil for 2 minutes, add potatoes (small tubes) and fry for 3 to 5 minutes on medium to low heat. Add chopped salami or bacon & fry another 3 minutes. Add garlic (fresh or powder), add chopped tomatoes, chicken stock, paprika, chilli powder or cayenne pepper, 2 cups water, and oregano. Let it simmer for 10 minutes the add chick peas and green peas. Allow to simmer on low heat for another 5 to 10 min. Add salt and pepper, serve.

Hint: Careful with spices and herbs you don't know, use little and gradually add as you taste.
