Two w**es. Two expressions of Idiom. One remarkable place.

From the slopes of the Helderberg come two distinctly different expressions of Stellenbosch: the Idiom Zinfandel 2022 and Idiom Semillon 2024.

The Idiom Zinfandel is an elegant, medium-bodied expression with aromas of dried yellow sultanas and rosemary, opening into layers of dried sage, aniseed and cranberry. Silky, refreshing and beautifully balanced,

In contrast, the Idiom Semillon is an aromatic example of barrel fermented Semillon. Subtle custard and lime cordial aromas with notes of cloves and white spices. Hints of prickly pear, capsicum and biscuit reveal Semillon’s zesty, textured character and inherent structure.

A few highlights from the menu: Pira-Braaied Beef Fillet alongside golden potato pavé, buttered asparagus and shiitake mushrooms, with French onion sauce, charred onion oil and a rich beef jus.

For R625 per person, enjoy a three-course menu celebrating seasonal flavours, with standouts including the Biltong-Spiced Ostrich Carpaccio, Pira-Braaied Beef Fillet, and a beautifully layered Citrus Opera Cake.
