JOB VACANCY - Irrigation Technician
Our Stikland, Bellville branch is looking for a reliable Irrigation Technician to install and service our client’s irrigation systems.

Irrigation Technician
Job Description:
Installs, maintain and repair irrigation equipment, including sprinklers, pumps, pipelines, valves, etc. in the residential and commercial environment.
The duties and responsibilities are as follows:
· Inspect and load equipment and material for the day’s work
· Driving to the client’s location
· Mapping out irrigation areas
· Digging trenches and installing pipes
· Installing pump and timers / controllers
· Testing the system
· Conduct regular maintenance checks
· Troubleshooting and replacing faulty parts
· Install water tanks and pump sets
· Install grey water systems
· Install wellpoints
Requirements:
Candidates applying for this position must:
- have good communication skills
- exhibit strong work ethic
- have detailed knowledge of irrigation technique and proven experience
- be able to operate tools and machinery
- have plumbing experience (preferable)
- be able to work under pressure
- be able to meet deadlines
- be able to work without supervision and in a team
Must have 3 years’ experience.
Driver’s license.
Salary
Market related and to be discussed in the interview.
