Afternoon Everyone

Trust you are all well and had a good weekend. Atleast we are not dealing with rain.......for now!

For those of you who may not know, many of the meals I offer can be frozen and enjoyed at a later stage.

Last week, I introduced weekly combo deals! These are available in limited quantities each week, and given the start of this winter combo deals, I'd say it has been so worth it for those who have ordered.

My Father’s Day specials are loading soon, so keep an eye out for those posts.

For now, I’d really appreciate your support by sharing my page and inviting your family and friends to follow me on social media. Every like, share, comment, and follow truly helps a small business grow, and it means more than you know.

Thank you always for the support, encouragement, and love.

Have a blessed and warm week ahead.

Shout out to my newest followers! Excited to have you onboard! Melony McTommy, Tamara Saal, Jessica Rosenberg

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of creating a Bento Cake Combo for a very special little boy's 4th birthday celebration and what made it even more special was that his birthday fell on Father's Day!

As many of you already know, my cake writing skills aren't exactly award-winning, but I always give it my best shot. It's something I openly discuss with my customers because I believe honesty is just as important as the cake itself. Thankfully, the love and effort that go into each order make up for any slightly wobbly lettering!

This particular cake was a classic vanilla cake, kept simple and elegant in white. The birthday boy, Connor, is a huge CR7 fan, so naturally, that's what he wanted featured on his cake. Creating cakes that reflect someone's interests and personality is always one of my favourite parts of baking.

We hope little Connor had the most amazing birthday celebration surrounded by family, laughter, and lots of love. After all, being 4 years old is a pretty big deal especially when there are presents involved!

Thank you for allowing Kitchen Something to be a small part of your special day.

Happy Father's Day to all the incredible dads, stepdads, grandfathers, father figures, and men who lead with love, strength, and sacrifice.

Today, we celebrate you and all that you do. Thank you for the lessons you teach, the support you give, the hard work you put in, and the love you show your families every single day.

Father's Day always brings a mix of emotions for me. My own dad passed away 4 years ago, and life has never been quite the same since. There are still moments when I wish I could pick up the phone, share a story, or simply hear his voice. But even through the loss, my appreciation for him has only grown.

The values he taught me, the memories we shared, and the love he gave continue to shape who I am today. For that, I will always be grateful.

To those celebrating with their dads today, hold them a little closer. To those missing their fathers, may the beautiful memories bring comfort to your heart.

From all of us at Kitchen Something, we wish you a blessed, joyful, and love-filled Father's Day.

If you received a treat box like this, what would your first reaction be?

This is what our fancy treat box looked like all together over the weekend, and I must say, seeing all the different treats in one box is always such a rewarding moment. From the delicate pastries to the creamy fillings and sweet finishes, every item is made with care and designed to bring a little bit of joy with every bite.

Looking at these boxes has also inspired me to make a few upgrades to the packaging. I want the presentation to be just as inviting and special as the treats inside. After all, the experience starts the moment you open the box!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my small business, trusts me with your orders, and allows me the creative freedom to put together these delicious selections. Your support means more than you know.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend filled with sweet moments, good food, and precious time with loved ones.

The final treat in the box was a classic favourite Chocolate Éclairs!

These delicate choux buns were filled with silky caramel and fresh cream, then finished off with a rich chocolate ganache drizzle. Sometimes, I dip them in chocolate, sometimes I drizzle them, but either way, they are always a winner.

A little fun fact: choux pastry itself isn't sweet. It's light, airy, and slightly crisp, which makes it the perfect base for sweet fillings. Paired with creamy caramel and fresh cream, every bite gives you the perfect balance of sweetness and freshness.

Can someone say delicious?

These are one of those treats that disappear far too quickly and always leave you wanting just one more.

Another fancy in the box this past weekend, a favourite that always brings a little joy, mini cakes.

These soft, airy little cakes are one of those treats that never stay on the table for long. Each one is made and decorated a little differently, depending on the mood of the day, which makes every box feel a bit special in its own way.

Inside, they’re filled with a light crème and curd combination that melts beautifully with every bite. They’re not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced, creamy, and so comforting.

These mini cakes also hold a very special place in my heart, as they were one of my late mom’s favourite little snacks. Every batch feels like a quiet reminder of her love in the kitchen.

The next fancy in the box was my brand-new Mini Bundt Cake, and honestly, it might just be one of the cutest little treats I've made!

I love changing up the fillings each time, and for this batch, I chose a delicious Granadilla cream. The light vanilla cake paired beautifully with the tangy, creamy filling. Looking back, I think I could have been a little more generous with the Granadilla flavour, but that's how recipes evolve and become even better!

What I can tell you is that this tiny cake delivers big flavour. It's rich, dreamy, and satisfying, yet somehow leaves you wanting just one more bite.

My son certainly thought so! He spent most of the baking process hovering around the kitchen, hoping I'd spare one for him. I can happily confirm that he got his Mini Bundt Cake and was a very happy little customer.

For more information or to place an order, feel free to WhatsApp me.

Have a wonderful day!
