What happens when street food gets the gourmet treatment, is the question Yatai asks. Downstairs from the pulsing Peruvian-Japanese vibe of Nikkei, this is another collaboration with chef Rikku O’Donnchu, where he’s re-imagining the traditional Japanese bowl of ramen into a slightly more sophisticated dining experience. Besides ramen, expect yakitori, dumplings and small plates with a touch of Japanese flair.
