Based in the Western Cape (South Africa) MUNCH BOWLS saw a gap in the market for an edible, 100% edible and biodegradable product to lessen the convenient food market’s carbon footprint. We are the original producers of the eco-friendly, edible, crisp wheat bowls. It all started in December 2009 at a food market. Noticing the enormous waste by serving food in Styro-foam and plastic bowls, made us

realise that by just replacing the non biodegradable food containers with edible bowls, will make a difference to the growing dump yards. Thinking of the GREEN impact, motivates us to create even more innovative products for the future. It is the company’s priority to give the best professional service and quality to our clients and consumers.
