Gourmet Foods is hiring a proactive Food Distribution Accountant to join our Finance Department, supporting reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and process improvements while ensuring strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities
• Financial reporting: Deliver accurate monthly accounts and clear variance analysis.
• Reconciliations: Maintain clean balance sheet reconciliations and payroll accuracy.
• Debtors & creditors: Monitor reports, resolve discrepancies, and ensure integrity.
• Audit & compliance: Support audits and uphold governance standards.
• Process improvement: Drive efficiency gains and strengthen controls.
• Team development: Mentor junior staff and support growth.

Requirements
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
• 2–3 years’ accounting/finance experience.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills (SYSPRO advantageous).
• Experience with VAT returns, audits, and FMCG/manufacturing environments beneficial.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proactive attitude.

What began as a single location has grown into something much bigger, and our move to Epping reflects that journey. This next step will allow us to better support our customers, streamline our distribution network, and create more opportunities for the future.

While we'll always be grateful for the memories made in Killarney, we're looking ahead with confidence. Our new home has been built to support continued growth, improved efficiency, and the high standards our customers have come to expect from us.
