A fantastic day in the Cape Winelands with a lovely couple visiting from Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸🍷

The day began with an early morning balloon flight over the vineyards, followed by a stroll through the charming streets of Franschhoek. We then stopped at Delaire Graff to take in the spectacular mountain views before heading to Stark-Condé, where lunch at the Postcard Café never disappoints.

To finish the day, we visited Uva Mira, perched high on the Helderberg slopes with breathtaking views stretching across False Bay. The combination of exceptional wines and incredible scenery was the perfect finale, and they enjoyed it so much that they ordered a case of wine to be shipped back home to the United States.

Thank you for a wonderful day, and I hope to welcome you back to South Africa again someday! 🍇🇿🇦

A fantastic day exploring the Cape Peninsula with a lovely couple from Washington, DC. 🇺🇸

We started in Muizenberg with a visit to the historic synagogue and the iconic colourful beach huts before heading to Boulders Beach to see the African penguins.

Next was Cape Point, where we hiked up to the lighthouse and continued all the way to the tip. I always enjoy guests who are keen to explore on foot—it makes the experience so much more rewarding.

One of the highlights of the day came on our walk back from the lighthouse when we spotted a puff adder beside the path, an incredible wildlife sighting that few visitors get to experience.

After lunch at the Brass Bell in Kalk Bay, we made our way back to Cape Town via the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive, stopping in Camps Bay to take in the beautiful views of the Twelve Apostles.

Another memorable day showcasing the incredible diversity of the Cape Peninsula.

Another fantastic day exploring the Constantia Wine Valley with a lovely couple visiting from Indiana 🇺🇸🍷

We started at Buitenverwachting before heading to Constantia Glen for some great wines and beautiful views. Lunch was at Bistro 1682 at Steenberg, where my guests were kind enough to invite me to join them, before finishing the day with one last tasting and more spectacular scenery at Beau Constantia.

Great wine, beautiful places, and most importantly, great company and a fantastic vibe throughout the day. Days like these are exactly why I love what I do! 🍷🇿🇦

A memorable day exploring some of the Cape’s finest wines with a wonderful couple from Atlanta, Georgia 🇺🇸🍷

We started in Stellenbosch before enjoying a particularly special experience at The Wine Arc, where we had the opportunity to taste with one of the winemakers and hear more about the stories behind the wines.

From there, we headed over the mountains to the beautiful Elgin Valley for lunch at The Bloem Restaurant at Paul Clüver, accompanied by some excellent Pinot Noir, before ending the day at Oak Valley with a tasting of their outstanding Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Great wines, beautiful scenery and even better company — exactly what a private wine tour should be about. 🍷🇿🇦

Another unforgettable day exploring the Cape Winelands with a honeymoon couple from Chicago! 🇺🇸🍷

We started at Babylonstoren, where world-class wines meet beautiful gardens, farm animals, artisan shops and one of the most unique wine estate experiences in South Africa.

Our next stop was the breathtaking Delaire Graff Estate, with its spectacular mountain views, outstanding wines and luxurious atmosphere—definitely a highlight of the day.

After a delicious lunch at The Fat Butcher in Stellenbosch, we finished with an intimate tasting at Catherine Marshall Wines, renowned for elegant Burgundy-inspired Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Every tour is tailored to my guests’ wine preferences, making each experience unique. It was a pleasure showing this wonderful couple some of the very best the Cape Winelands has to offer. Congratulations again on your honeymoon, and I hope to welcome you back to South Africa one day! 🍾🥂

A last-minute Cape Peninsula adventure yesterday! 🌊

After a quick breakfast in Muizenberg, we headed along one of the world’s most spectacular coastlines to Boulders Beach to visit the African penguins, before continuing to the dramatic scenery of Cape Point.

The weather may have been a little unpredictable, but the smiles, views, and memories made it another fantastic day exploring the Cape.

Thank you for choosing A Taste of Cape Town! 🇿🇦

Another incredible day exploring Stellenbosch with a guest visiting from New York.

We started the morning at Mitre’s Edge with a wine and cheese pairing hosted by the winemaker — always a special and personal experience.

From there, we headed to Delaire Graff, one of the most iconic wineries in Stellenbosch, for another tasting surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Cape Winelands. The experience was so memorable that a few bottles had to come home as well.

Lunch at Vuur was truly something special. A unique open-fire dining experience that combines incredible food, atmosphere, and storytelling around the fire. I was grateful to be invited to join for the experience.

We ended the day in Stellenbosch town centre, enjoying a few more glasses of wine at some of the local wine bars.

Days like these are what private wine touring in Cape Town is all about — great wine, good conversation, unforgettable food, and authentic experiences.

Sunday’s Cape Peninsula tour with two friends from Iowa 🇺🇸

From the cruise ship terminal to Boulders Beach, Cape Point, and a relaxing lunch at the Brass Bell in Kalk Bay 🌊 Although Chapman’s Peak was closed due to the weather, we still had an amazing day exploring the beauty of the Cape before ending off with an airport drop-off. Great company and unforgettable views along the way. 🍷🐧⛰️
