All meals are cooked by us (Guy & Lyall), a.k.a Guyall, using the best quality ingredients that we can find as if we were cooking for ourselves. Everything we make is done with passion and for the love of cooking. We try as far as possible, not to use any additives or preservatives, however, on the odd occasion

we find the ingredient we need already has this in (for example. We value such ingredients and use it for quality purposes. Meals are packaged and frozen, ready for delivery.

Crispy fish tacos with all the fresh, punchy flavours, paired with our favourite wine of the day — Brookdale’s Bradbourne White.

And judging by the collection of empty bottles, we weren’t the only ones enjoying the wine… 😂🍷

We started with Neapolitan pizza — blistered crust, simple ingredients and that unmistakable wood-fired character. 🍕

Paired with Mason Road Serendipity Rosé, it was the perfect opening to an evening built around great food, great wine and plenty of fun.

A bubbly beginning, beautiful pairings and an unforgettable finish.

We welcomed guests with Saronsberg’s elegant Cap Classique before pouring their striking new Lady at the Water Rosé, paired with sesame-crusted seared tuna. To finish, the multi-award-winning Saronsberg Shiraz was served alongside warm chocolate fondant, fresh berries and vanilla bean ice cream—a pairing every bit as memorable as the evening itself.

As the menu unfolded, so did the wines.

Saronsberg Grenache 2021 was paired with our confit chicken, cauliflower purée and grilled porcini mushrooms, a combination that perfectly balanced richness with elegance. The evening continued with wood-fired picanha, hasselback potatoes and green beans, complemented by the bold character of Saronsberg Seismic 2023.

Thoughtfully crafted dishes, exceptional wines and great company around one table—that’s what Open Kitchen is all about.

Some partnerships have been a long time coming!

Guests were welcomed with Saronsberg De Steen Chenin Blanc alongside toasted goat’s cheese bruschetta, crisp salad, fresh pears and toasted pine nuts. In the kitchen, that same wine found its way into the pan, becoming part of another dish before making its way into every guest’s glass.

The earthy richness of our wild mushroom risotto found its perfect match in Tokara Reserve Collection Cabernet Sauvignon, while warm baked Dalewood Camembert with quince preserve was beautifully complemented by Tokara’s exceptional Straw Wine.

From the very first bite, Tokara’s estate produce set the tone for the evening.

Have you ever dipped warm focaccia into Tokara’s award-winning extra virgin olive oil, paired with their balsamic vinegar and Kalamata olives? It’s a simple way to showcase exceptional ingredients. The evening continued with wood-fired picanha, patatas bravas and Tokara Director’s Reserve Red—a pairing that was every bit as memorable as the company around the table.
