🚨Good news for household borehole users.

Following OUTA's engagement, the Department of Water and Sanitation has confirmed that households using borehole water for reasonable domestic purposes do not need to register under the current national water-use registration process.

The clarification comes after widespread confusion left many homeowners worried they could face penalties for simply securing water when municipal services failed.
