Meet the Makers! Razia's Pickle has a much-loved story! She spent her whole life in Kimberley, in a town where everyone knew everyone and pickles were made in potfuls, the way her mother made them, and her mother's mother before that.

In 2019 she moved to Pretoria to be with her daughter Kareema. She started making pickles to fill the time. Small batches. Family recipes. The kind of thing that does not come from a cookbook. Kareema's colleagues noticed. Then a street market. Then another. Then a bigger one. Kareema, at the time a full-time attorney, eventually made a different kind of decision and followed her heart!

Razia's Pickle now have three women leading at the core. One family's recipe. Generations of pickle-making, in a jar.
