🍺🌿 HAPPY NATIONAL IPA DAY! 🌿🍺

Today, 6 August, we’re raising a glass to the beer style that basically said: “You know what this beer needs? MORE HOPS.” 😂

And naturally, the spotlight is firmly on our Clarens Brewery Sandstone IPA.

🌲 Big hop character
🍊 Plenty of citrusy goodness
🌿 A proper bitter bite
🔥 IBU 55
🍺 6.1% ABV

A few completely necessary IPA facts:

🌿 Hops are actually flowers — pretty little things with a serious attitude.

🚢 IPA’s famous hop-forward character is linked to the historic practice of brewing stronger, hoppier beer for long sea journeys.

😎 IPA drinkers have excellent taste. This is obviously scientifically proven. (No, we didn't conduct the study.)

🍻 And finally: IBU 55 means this isn't a beer that came here to whisper.

So whether you like your hops subtle, citrusy, piney or “GOOD GRIEF, THAT’S HOPPY!” — today is your excuse to celebrate.
