Celebrating people in Agriculture

Earlier this week, the annual Agricultural Worker of the Year event took place in De Doorns — a special occasion recognising the dedication, skill, and pride of the people who help drive our agricultural industry.

Well done to everyone who entered and took part - 128 entries from 63 farms! Whether you received an award or simply had the courage to participate, your contribution matters.

Last week, we held our annual awards ceremony for the Hex River team. This event gives us the opportunity to say thank you and to celebrate individuals who made an exceptional contribution during the past season.

Congratulations to all the winners, and especially to Berto de Vlam, who received the top award.

As we come to the end of our table grape season, we want to take a moment to reflect on some of the photos taken of you during the past couple of months.

We wish to express our sincerest gratitude to every employee who supported us through each stage of this table grape cycle – from pruning the vines to the very end when the grapes were carefully prepared and packed for shipping.

Your dedication and loyalty are truly appreciated. This is a big team effort – without your commitment, it would not have been possible.

We look forward to welcoming our contract workers back later in the year.
