Ever wondered how much herd composition affects your bottom line when all environmental factors are equal?

The goal is to show the direct impact of herd composition by comparing our Commercial Mixed Herd against our Purebred Stud Herd in the exact same environment.

In an industry where we constantly have to manage rising input costs while trying to maintain or improve production, these numbers tell a powerful story.

Our commercial herd achieved an 85% conception rate, whereas our purebred stud herd achieved a 95% conception rate while consuming half the daily supplement intake of our mixed herd (59g vs 119g).

Before there is a strong calf, there is a strong mother. 🐂🌿

Our Tuli cows are an important part of building the future of the herd - bringing together fertility, adaptability and strong maternal traits to raise the next generation.

Because the future isn't built in one season. It's built one generation at a time.

Today marks the beginning of spring - a season of new growth, fresh beginnings and looking ahead. 🌱

As the veld changes, we’re reminded that the future of our herd is growing right in front of us.

These young Tulis are the next generation, developing daily and showing us exactly what the future holds. 🐂

A striking animal will always turn heads, but true quality goes much deeper than the surface. 🐂

We love a beautiful bull or heifer as much as anyone, but for us, visual appraisal is only the first step. The real value lies in breeding animals that don’t just look good in the pasture, but contribute to the strength and future of the entire herd.

We look deeper at genetics, fertility, structural soundness, adaptability and the ability to perform in our environment.

That’s why it is so important to us to select and breed animals that can make a meaningful contribution to the generations that follow.
