We are proud to announce another successful installation by Marlin Technologies — a custom single-pass indirect feed RO water treatment system for a 23-bed dialysis facility in Umhlanga, KZN.

Designed for the local municipal water quality and featuring a municipal buffer tank for uninterrupted supply, the system includes comprehensive pretreatment (AFM glass media, softening & GAC), a locally manufactured 900 LPH RO unit, UV sterilisation, and bacterial filtration.

Fully compliant with hashtag and maintained to hashtag standards, ensuring clinical excellence and patient safety. Well done to the team!

🚨 Advancing Water Security Through Partnership: The Thaba-Eco Village Project!

Leading property developers like Balwin Properties are shifting toward sustainable, resilient water infrastructure without sacrificing quality.

A prime example is our recent collaboration at Thaba-Eco Village Lifestyle Estate.

To support Balwin's future-focused vision, Marlin Technologies Group (MTG) designed and installed a fully integrated, scalable water treatment plant at the Thaba Lifestyle Centre.

Leveraging our experience in high-compliance healthcare environments, we engineered a multi-stage process — incorporating advanced filtration, softening, and ultra-filtration — to treat high-hardness borehole water.

The system now delivers 15,000 litres of SANS 241-compliant potable water daily.

By reducing reliance on municipal supply, the project secures long-term water reliability and is projected to achieve a return on investment in just 21 months.

Backed by built-in redundancy and an active maintenance plan, this project proves that strategic, forward-thinking infrastructure delivers both environmental sustainability and strong commercial returns.

Marlin Technologies Group Delivers Sustainable Water Solution for St John’s DSG in Pietermaritzburg!

MTG successfully completed a turnkey water infrastructure project for St John’s Diocesan School for Girls in Pietermaritzburg to improve water security and sustainability.

After assessing the school’s insufficient borehole supply, MTG recommended and implemented an additional borehole, supported regulatory compliance, and installed a full system including civil works, electricals, storage tanks, borehole integration, and a water treatment plant.

The project was completed within three months without disrupting school operations.

As a result, the school now relies primarily on its own sustainable water system, using municipal supply only as backup.

MTG continues to support the system through a 12-month service agreement, including monthly maintenance, water quality monitoring, and 24/7 technical support.
