Murat Oncel is the owner of Café Turka and recently immigrated from Turkey where he has lived all his life. After graduating in hospitality he owned and ran a small restaurant in Marmaris, a beautiful seaside town in southern Turkey. His specialty is lamb doner kebab, which originated in Turkey in the 18th century, where it was introduced and popularized in Istanbul. Doner kebab is a type of Turki

sh kebab, made of meat (lamb, chicken or beef), which is marinated and seasoned in the shape of an inverted cone and slowly cooked while turning on the rotisserie. The slow cooked meat is sliced and served with fresh salad, dips (hummus and Turkish garlic sauce) in a pita or wrap. Every week we introduce different Turkish delicacies including Turkish coffee and Aryan - a cold yogurt beverage mixed with salt and iced water – a very refreshing drink! FIND CAFE TURKA AT:
