We wrapped up another week ending on the best note on Friday as we once again had the privilege of being part of The Robin Hood Foundation Annual Celebration of Life at Ethembeni School

A day filled with smiles, laughter and meaningful connections is a beautiful reminder that sometimes, the greatest gift we can give is simply showing up, sharing joy and making children feel celebrated.

Thank you to The Robin Hood Foundation for continuing to create these special moments and for allowing us to be part of something that makes a difference.

Our annual Momentum Wellness Day gives our team the opportunity to access essential health checks and basic screenings — an important reminder that prevention, awareness and early intervention all play a role in maintaining good health.

Yesterday, we also welcomed an Optometrist to provide eye testing for our staff, ensuring that our people have access to the benefits and support they need to take care of their wellbeing.

A 5KM WITH A LITTLE MERLOG SPIRIT

Saturday saw some of our Merlog ladies swapping the cold store for the start line as they took on the 5km Durban W**e Run at Westown Square — and what a run it was! With a w**e tasting station at every kilometre, delicious snacks and a bottle of w**e waiting at the finish line as the ultimate medal, it was certainly a race with a difference!

And then came the highlight… our very own Dom and Kim taking the win! 🏆 A great morning of teamwork, laughter, good sport and a little w**e along the way. Well done to all our Merlog ladies who took part! 👏

Spring has officially sprung at our offices and Friday was all about good vibes, great people and lekker food as we put the work aside for a little while and getting together to celebrate Spring Day the South African way — with the smell of the braai in the air, good music, plenty of laughs and, of course, the Merlog team bringing the vibes!

More than just a braai, our Spring Celebration was a chance to connect, celebrate the wins, enjoy each other’s company and appreciate the incredible people who make Merlog what it is 💙

Here’s to a new season, a great team and many more reasons to celebrate! 🌱
