Compost is usually talked about as a garden helper.
But it may also have a much bigger role to play.
By returning organic matter to the soil, compost can help store carbon, support soil life and reduce the need for some synthetic inputs.

Today, I had the privilege of attending my PGS group meeting at KSFI, where the infectious enthusiasm of our farmers left a lasting impression on me.
