Did you know that it is important to note that the quality of honey produced by bees depends on various factors such as the type of flowers they feed on, the environment they live in, and the beekeeper’s practices. While unsprayed flowers may be a good source of nectar for bees, it does not necessarily guarantee that the honey produced will be healthy. In fact, honey can be contaminated with pesticides and other harmful substances if the bees feed on flowers that have been sprayed with chemicals 23.

Therefore, it is advisable to purchase honey from a trusted source that follows good beekeeping practices and ensures that the honey is free from contaminants. Our bees feed from all wildflowers and our farm is far from sprayed crops which means the pesticides which could be lurking in other honey sources will not be found in our honey. Although not registered as a Organic Farm we have only cows and horses and wildlife present and do not spray trees or crops on our farm therefore the flowers and the honey should be totally free of any contaminants. We harvest and bottle and offer direct to you and keep the honey just as pure at every stage!

We have a few bottles in stock now of really beautiful mature honey, it must have been made and stored at the end of last season! 😍 And then we are awaiting this new season's honey flow imminently! The lovely wildflowers are out! You can get stock from Balfourmed Pharmacy in Vincent (near Vincent Spar, old Wise Guys venue) or else for larger quantities of our 500gram bottles get in contact with me to collect via appointment.
