On the farm, we learn quickly that growth doesn’t happen by our own strength. We prepare the ground, tend our flocks, and then we wait — trusting God to send the rain in His perfect time. Just like our fields and hens depend on Him, so do we.

New girls on the farm… can you guess who they are? 👀🐔

We’ve had some beautiful new ladies quietly settle into the Happy Hen Hatchery flock.

They’re dressed head-to-toe in dark, glossy feathers with just a hint of copper shimmer when the sun hits them ✨

These girls are known for being calm, hardy, and excellent layers — and when they start producing, their eggs are something special. Think rich colour, strong shells, and a real farm favourite 🍫🥚

💛 A HUGE THANK YOU from Happy Hen Hatchery 💛

We just want to take a moment to say thank you to every single person who has supported us, cheered us on, and stood beside us on this journey. Your support truly means the world to us!

If we’ve been a little quiet lately… it’s because we’ve been SOLD OUT! 🎉 Our girls have been working overtime, and we are honestly so overwhelmed (in the best way) by the love and support we’ve received.

Please be patient with us while we egg our girls on 🥚😉 to keep producing the best quality eggs possible. We promise — it’s worth the wait!

We also have a few exciting things happening behind the scenes, so make sure you stay tuned 👀✨

📢 Important update:
As of 1 February, there will be a small price increase to help us keep up with the high-quality feed and nutrients we give our girls to ensure healthy hens and top-quality eggs.
👉 Trays of 30 eggs will now be R85.
