Hiermee bevestig die Dohne Merino dat hy n ware dubbel doel ras is wat nie terugstaan vir suiwer vleisrasse nie. Baie geluk!!

Die eerste keer dat Lourence van der Colff van Overberg Meat vir die Suid-Afrikaanse vleisbedryfsmaatskappy Samic se karkaskompetisie ingeskryf het, het hy ’n punt van 99,53% vir ’n Dohne-Merino-karkas behaal.
