Our story
The Biltong Shoppe was a dream come true when the first store opened in Prellar Walk Bloemfontein in February 2012. We never thought that it would grow as quickly as it did, but soon after two other stores were added in Northridge Mall and Woodland Hills Village before branching out to Pretoria in 2016 opening Eldo Square and Eldoraigne Village.
Getting the product to what it is today included a series of long nights and a lot of experimenting with different flavours and spices. There were some mistakes, learning curves along the way but success was found when we landed on the key ingredients to our signature spice! Great care is taken in creating this signature blend of herbs and spices to enhance the flavours including the biltong itself.
All our products are made with top quality silversides and topsides. We take great care in removing all sinew from the meat to ensure that our product is of the highest quality, taste and texture. We make everything ourselves and a lot of love and care is given when making our product.
Everything is tried and tested before being sent to the stores. This is done to ensure that only the best products get sent to the most important people, our Clients!
