The winery forms part of larger holistic farming business called ‘De Rust Estate'. In addition to the vineyards and cellar, there are apple and pear orchards, a Hereford stud and eco-tourism activities, including amphitheatre concerts, on the farm. The estate forms part of the UNESCO world heritage site, the Kogelberg Biosphere. Half of the estate has been set aside for conservation into perpetuity.

A defining moment for our Estate Pinot Noir.

We are honoured to announce that our Estate Pinot Noir 2024 has exceeded our own expectations and has been awarded the Investec Trophy for Best Pinot Noir and 96 points, marking the first time in 15 years that this category has received a trophy.

The recognition, presented by Michael Fridjhon, carries special meaning for our team.

Congratulations to our cellar master, Andries Burger. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to those who continue to support and believe in what we do.
