Role Description
This is a contract or full-time role located in Fourways, City of Johannesburg, with travel to Zululand. As a Junior Project Manager at Acumen Group, you will assist in coordinating and executing projects, maintaining timelines, and managing resources for successful project delivery, with heavy emphasis on managing and controlling procurement chain, RFQ, proposal, order, partial payments, invoicing, and proof of work completed. Key responsibilities include overseeing project progress, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders, expediting workflows, and conducting related project tasks.
Qualifications
• Experience and proficiency in Expediting and Expeditor roles to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project schedules.
• Strong Project Management skills, including planning and organizing to successfully guide projects to completion.
• Knowledge of Inspection processes and quality assurance to maintain high standards across deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in project coordination or related roles is essential.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software is essential.

Construction experience: 1 year
Project Management experience: 1 year
Valid driver’s license: Yes
