All year we collect leaves on the farm to use as mulch between the vines for a number of reasons; the leaves enrich the soil with heaps of nutrients, smother weeds, provide a safe haven for the beneficial creepy crawlies and microbes, & reduce the temperature and evaporation of water from the soil
