We are proud to announce that the Allée Bleue Black Series Old Vine Cinsaut 2025 has been awarded Best Niche Varietal at the 2026 Investec Trophy Wine Show and has also received the prestigious Rosa Kruger Trophy for Best Old Vine Wine.

Sourced from a single dry-farmed bush-vine vineyard in Piekenierskloof, this limited-release wine is a celebration of place, patience and craftsmanship. Delicately fragrant with notes of red berries, raspberry and sour plum, it is a refined expression of old-vine Cinsaut, produced in a style that values elegance over power.

This year marks 50 years for both winemaker Van Zyl du Toit and the Piekenierskloof vineyard itself, adding even greater significance to this remarkable release.

With only 2,100 bottles produced, this award-winning wine stands as a testament to the pursuit of excellence that defines the Black Series collection. What began as an exploration of old-vine Cinsaut has become one of South Africa's most celebrated wines of 2026.

Under our ancient trees, you will find 'Generations' by artists Emil and Gundel Sogor. The stones are hand-selected from the Berg River banks and set in a quiet star formation, each one marking a generation that has cared for Allée Bleue since 1690.
