After the accident, she loved being pushed around in the wheelchair and she would wait to be lifted in so she could be taken out for a walk with the other dogs. Pleased that her broken leg has fully healed and there are no signs of long term damage…

Just noticed these yellow flowers in the garden which normally only germinate after fire. Not sure why they have decided to pop up this year. It just reminded us that the end of October was the anniversary of the mountain fires, five years ago, that destroyed most of our trees and plants. We have slowly been replacing lost plant life and love seeing our garden grow after the devastation…
