🌿 Growing together, as a community.

It was a pleasure to welcome the Herbertsdale Vroue Landbou Vereniging to Kus tot Kruin for a day of learning, sharing, and connecting.

There is something special about bringing people together around a shared love for agriculture and the community we call home. We were delighted to have the opportunity to share a little of what we do on the farm, learn from one another, and exchange ideas and experiences.

Days like these remind us that farming is about more than what happens in the fields. It is also about the people, relationships, knowledge, and communities that help one another grow.

🌿 From tiny leaves to harvest time.

A few weeks ago, we shared a glimpse of something new growing at Kus tot Kruin. Today, those little seedlings have grown into beautiful, vibrant baby spinach and are officially ready for harvest.

Watching a crop grow from its very first leaves to harvest is one of the most rewarding parts of farming. It takes patience, care, favourable conditions, and a dedicated team working together every step of the way.

Every harvest is a reminder that growth doesn't happen overnight. It comes through consistency, perseverance, and a deep respect for the land that provides for us.

We're excited to see this fresh baby spinach begin its journey from our fields to tables across South Africa.

🐄 Our morning traffic.

Every journey to Kus tot Kruin begins the same way—greeting the ladies.

These beautiful dairy cows are always there to greet us, calmly making their way along the road as they head in for the first milking of the day. Around here, traffic doesn't come with blaring horns and traffic lights—it comes with curious faces, gentle moos, and the occasional reminder to slow the bakkie down.

It's become one of those little traditions that makes every morning feel special.

We wouldn't have our morning commute any other way. 🤍🌿
