The story of Creation Wines is as old as the hills - dating back to when Mother Nature created South Africa's beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde and bestowed upon it exceptional w**egrowing conditions. At the same time, our story is as young as the vibrant team who since 2002 has been investing their talents to create a w**e range of great distinction.

A special season for Glenn, who has spent vintage in Burgundy with the team at Domaine Drouhin-Laroze in Gevrey-Chambertin.

He worked from the vineyards through to the cellar and learnt by doing, in a region with centuries of tradition, alongside people who know every row of these vineyards.

Seeing how another place approaches the craft always sharpens how we look at our own vineyards on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge.

Thank you to everyone at Domaine Drouhin-Laroze for the warm welcome, the generous knowledge sharing and for making Glenn part of the team.

He’s now representing Creation in Norway and London before heading home with plenty learnt and a few good stories to share.

A moment of Creation beyond the vineyards, shared with some very special company.

JC and Carolyn had the opportunity to capture a moment in time with Deon Meyer and his wife, Marianne, at the premiere of Invisible, the new eight-part thriller based on Blood Safari.

It stars Abbie Cornish, Dougray Scott, Tim Theron and Kim Engelbrecht, and follows a bodyguard and a London-based expat as they uncover a conspiracy buried for decades in the Lowveld.

We were lucky enough to see it at the premiere. It’s gripping, beautifully shot and proudly South African.

Congratulations to Deon, Johan Holtzhausen, Piet Mouton and the whole team behind Invisible.

Pour a glass of something local and settle in.

Invisible starts on M-Net (DStv 101) on Wednesday, 14 October at 20:00, with a new episode every Wednesday.

Across the Ridge, new shoots are breaking through after a season of dormancy, the first sign of the vintage to come.
Our vineyard team is out doing the quiet work now: suckering , canopy checks, early disease prevention, all in service of what the soil will eventually give us.

From vineyard to bottle, this is where it begins 🍷
