By now, you know rugby came first. W**e came later. But the two were never really separate.

So much of what Burton learnt on the field followed him into Francis W**es: discipline, patience, resilience, attention to the smallest details and the understanding that nothing worth building happens overnight.

And now, w**e has found its way back to rugby too.

With 5% from every bottle sold going to Francis Academy, what began as Burton’s opportunity has become a way to help create opportunities for the players coming next.

93 points sounds impressive. But what does it actually tell you?

For us, a score isn’t the reason to make the w**e, and it shouldn’t be the only reason you buy one.

What it does offer is independent proof.

Francis Chardonnay 2023 received 93 points from Tim Atkin MW, while our Pinot Noir 2023 received 92 points.

We’re incredibly proud of both.
