We are proud to share that we’ve been named the very first winners of the National RPO Midlands Best Steak and Best Biltong Competition, held at the Royal Agricultural Show at Tweedie on 10 October.

We entered three primal cuts of Sparta Beef beef: rib-eye, sirloin and rump. We chose them because they represent the quality and standard of Sparta, the Welkom-based producer behind our beef. Sparta is known across South Africa as a specialist in beef production, and we feel privileged to be able to bring their product to our customers.

Being specialist beef retailers is something we take real pride in, and this award epitomises our constant striving for quality meat products. It means a great deal to Dave and the whole team.

Thank you to everyone who supports us at our butchery inside Pick n Pay, Hilton in Hilton. We look forward to continuing to grow Dixon and Son Meat Co alongside Pick n Pay and Sparta.
