🌟 Baking Bliss Alert! 🌟

What’s better than the smell of freshly baked scones wafting through the house? 🍞✨ Scones made with our rich, creamy Full Cream Amasi, of course! Perfect for a cozy tea time or a quick snack with family. 🥰

Here’s a no-fuss recipe to whip up a batch:

Easy Amasi Scones

Ingredients:
4 cups self-raising flour
½ tsp salt
100g butter (cold, cubed)
1 cup Full Cream Amasi
2 eggs (1 for the mixture, 1 for brushing)
2 tbsp sugar

Method:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Add the butter and rub it into the flour with your fingers until it resembles breadcrumbs.
3️⃣ Stir in the sugar.
4️⃣ In a separate bowl, whisk together the Amasi and one egg. Add this to the dry ingredients and gently mix until a soft dough forms. Avoid overmixing!
5️⃣ Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead lightly, and roll it out to about 2cm thickness.
6️⃣ Use a round cutter to shape your scones and place them on the prepared tray.
7️⃣ Brush the tops with the remaining whisked egg for a golden finish.
8️⃣ Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the scones are puffed up and golden brown.

Serve warm with butter, jam, or a dollop of cream for an indulgent treat! 🧈🍓

🪀Keeping kids busy during school holidays can be challenging.
Teach them how to make these easy Frozen Yogurt Pops! Not only is it very simple to prepare but, it is also a healthy snack.

🥣Kids can have fun helping blend, pour, and even pick their favourite fruits to mix in!

🫐🍓Rusco Dairy Products Frozen Yogurt Pops

Ingredients:
1 cup of plain yogurt, flavoured yogurt, or drinking yogurt (strawberry, vanilla, or any flavour the kids like)
1/2 cup of mixed fruit of their choice (fresh or frozen)
1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Small paper cups and wooden sticks or Popsicle moulds.

Instructions:
Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, combine the yogurt (or drinking yogurt), mixed berries, honey (if using), and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.

Pour into Moulds or cups: Pour the mixture into popsicle moulds. If you don’t have moulds, you can use small paper cups and insert a stick halfway through the freezing process.

Freeze: Place the moulds/cups in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the yogurt pops are fully frozen.

Enjoy: Once frozen, pop the yogurt treats out of the moulds (you can run warm water over the outside of the mould to help release them), and enjoy a refreshing snack!
